Your trusted AV partner in Ann Arbor & the Greater Metro Detroit area

At Thalner, we believe the best commercial A/V systems are built around the people using them, meaning your team, your workflow, and your space. From local Ann Arbor offices to multi-site property expansions in Detroit, our approach to seamless AV integration stays the same: simplify the complex, remove the guesswork, and design supportive AV systems tailored around your operational needs.

We've operated out of the same building in Ann Arbor for over 60 years, and that single-location history shapes how we're able to cover and support all of our Southeast Michigan clients today, especially in Detroit, Lansing, and other surrounding cities. What that coverage really means for you is working with a local AV team, not a subcontracted one, who has vast knowledge and experience working in your community.

60 Years. One Name. One Legacy.

TEL Systems is becoming Thalner again.

Nearly 60 years ago, our story began as Thalner Electronic Laboratories.

Over the years, our name has changed, our industry has evolved, and the technology we work with has advanced — but the people, relationships and commitment behind our work have always remained the same.

Today, we're bringing the Thalner name back with a refreshed identity that better represents who we are and what we do.

This isn't a new company. It's the next chapter of the same one.

Same team. Same experience. Same commitment.

Integrated AV
