Custom AV systems designed with maintenance in mind

Your AV control system, audio, video walls, and digital signage all work together, so we service them the same way we designed them: as one system. The programmer who wrote your interface knows how the pieces fit, which means a service call actually fixes the underlying issue instead of patching one component at a time.

Once your system is live, we're the ones you call when something breaks, when firmware needs updating, or when you're ready to take over service on a system another integrator installed.

  • One team follows your project from design through years of service
  • Service takeovers for systems installed by other integrators

Almost every AV company buys and sells the same TV and the same speaker at roughly the same price. So cost is usually not a value — it's our service, our customer service.

When AV systems age, the whole room slows down

AV equipment doesn't stay simple on its own. Firmware needs updating, control processors age, and systems installed years ago by another integrator eventually need someone who understands how all the pieces are supposed to work together. That's where our AV maintenance and technology refresh service comes in. We service everything we install, and we take over the care of systems we didn't, for corporate offices, university classrooms, auditoriums, and control centers throughout Ann Arbor and the surrounding area.

Every installation project includes a one-year warranty, and most of our long-term clients move into an ongoing maintenance plan that fits how hard their space gets used, whether that's a quarterly visit for a boardroom or a more frequent check-in for a busy lecture hall. The goal is simple: the system keeps doing what it was built to do, long after our installation crew has gone home.

Preventing AV problems before they come to fruition

A control system, a video wall, a paging system, and a conference room camera don't do much good if they're serviced as four separate problems. Our engineers and programmers, the same team that works on new AV control systems and conference room AV systems installs, are the ones who come back out when something needs attention, because they understand how the Crestron or QSC programming ties the pieces together.

When we take over service on a system another integrator installed, our first step is an assessment: what's actually in the rack, what firmware is running, and what the end user is supposed to be able to do with a touch panel that may not match what's actually wired behind it. That gap is where most service calls start. Keeping the design, installation, and ongoing support inside one team is what lets a maintenance visit actually solve the problem instead of just resetting it until the next call.

60+ years of AV maintenance in Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Lansing

We've serviced AV systems out of the same Ann Arbor building for over 60 years, which means a lot of the equipment we maintain today, we installed ourselves. Our service territory covers Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Lansing, helping just about any commercial space you can imagine with maintaining superior performance for their AV tech.

Whether it's a quarterly firmware check on a single conference room or an annual walkthrough of a building full of classrooms, our technicians already know the area and, in a lot of cases, already know the building. That familiarity is part of what keeps service calls short: we're not learning your system for the first time when something goes wrong, because in most cases we're the ones who built it.

Ensure your AV system always gets the support it deserves

Every AV system we install comes backed by a one-year warranty as well as maintenance contracts built around your budget and service needs. Those visits cover firmware updates, system checks, and the small adjustments that keep a touch panel working the way your staff expects it to.

Free design work, in-house engineers and programmers, and service that doesn't stop once the crew leaves the building — that's what six decades as an AV leader in Ann Arbor has taught us matters most. If you'd like to come up with a custom AV maintenance program, request a quote from us today, and let's start preparing your AV system for the future.

FAQs

Questions we get about AV maintenance and technology.

It depends on your contract and how the space gets used. Some corporate clients have us out quarterly, others prefer twice a year, and we'll set a schedule that fits your budget.

Every installation includes a full year of warranty coverage on our workmanship, and most equipment carries its own manufacturer warranty too. Extended coverage up to five years is available.

Yes. We regularly take over maintenance on existing Crestron, QSC, and Extron systems installed by another integrator, starting with an assessment of what's in the rack and how it's supposed to work.

Our home territory runs about 60 to 80 miles out, covering Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Lansing. For clients further away, our PSNI Global Alliance membership lets us coordinate with a local affiliate.

Give us a call. We handle service calls outside of contract too, and if you're on a maintenance plan, you already have a team that knows your system instead of starting from scratch.
